ABH packaging never disappoint me. I love how Soft glam palette looks very soft by its velvety golden brown outlook with touch of rose gold. The only problem is, though I love the luxurious velvet feeling but the palette gets really dirty pretty soon by touching the shadows with the fingers and then forgetfully touching back the eye shadow palette cover. Even though I try to be careful but this light color velvet box always get loads of shadow marks which ultimately makes a mess.

Once you open the palette you just die out of happiness! I do not know if that a correct word to describe my level of happiness but I have no other words ! All the shades are super gorgeous. When the soft glam palette just came in to the market I thought I have these nude brown shades somewhere in my collection and thought not to buy it. But when I realized I am getting all these necessary shades in one place I felt like I need it.

My thoughts were very TRUE. This palette comes with all necessary browns, golds ,pinks and with a matte black that everybody needs in some point of their life.

With this eye shadow palette you can achieve daily causal make up look to the most glamours night party look. You can go very simple to very dramatically smokey and play in so many different ways if you want to be creative. You are getting fourteen different shades from essential mattes to glam shimmers.

Many people love to compare this eye shadow palette with The Modern Renaissance by ABH. It is true that there are three shades that are repeated. Those shades  are TEMPERA,BURNT ORANGE and CYPRUS UMBER. Though many people mentioned that SIENNA is repeated but that is actually wrong because they are two different shades, so it should not be counted as repeat. It was RAW SIENNA before and now it is only SIENNA and there are big differences in these two shades.

BURNT ORANGE  is a shade that I use a lot and very regularly so I am glad that they repeated it. TEMPERA is the only shade which I do not use so much though it is a nice matte highlight shade. CYPRUS UMBER is repeated as well which I use a lot but do not need much. This shade is very pigmented and little touch of shade gives a very dramatic look. I wish TEMPERA and CYPRUS UMBER was not repeated rather I would prefer a different golden brown olive shade for example GOLDEN OCHRE which I use a lot from Modern Renaissance palette.

Modern Renaissance and Soft Glam both are full of beautiful browns, pinks and golds but Modern Renaissance is a much brighter and colorful palette where as Soft Glam consists of more soft kind of shades that are great for anyone of any age and any skin tone. They might give you a smiliar feeling but usage will be so much different. I love the fact that all shades of both palettes are made of warm undertone.

The pigmentation is great just as other ABH palettes. I will be using this palette  more  for next few days and let you guys know later on my YouTube video how they feels to play with on my eyelids.

DO I RECOMMEND ? YES OF COURSE ! I think this will be my most used and go to eye shadow palette very soon 😀
