April to early May is the time when Sweden starts to get decorated all over with it’s natural beauty. The glorious white and pink natures decorations can be observed in different places but the heart of Stockholm, Kungsträdgården is the place where annually the Japanese festival takes place. This place is always very happening and in festive mood. There are so many different options where you can find food, sit by the fountain, enjoy the sun, take a lot of pictures. There is gentle breeze and sweet crowed to elevate your mood. For taking pictures the best time of the day is when the sun is up but if you want to take pictures in less crowed and to have some space then better will be the evening time. The sun is up till 20.00 so if you are there around 17.00 hours still you can take some good shots. Remember it is still cold during the afternoon so even though you get ready for photo shoot with light pretty cloths but keep your jacket and coats with you to be safe.
I was there for two occasions both morning and afternoon and enjoyed both time. As the clock changes the place looks more beautiful in different ways.
So now you can see the pictures and get the vibe of Cherry Blossom Festival.
It never happens that cherry blossom is here and I am not holding it for a royal pinky picture 😉 so here you go…….
I love watching how people takes picture and that makes great candid.
Birds also joins the festival and it seems that their happiness knows no bounds!
Then the evening arrives! The whole place becomes calm and quiet yet so beautiful!

WoW! I’m visiting in July and will sadly miss the cherry blossoms. Would you happen to have any other tips for my trip?

You’re missing cherry blossoms but in July you get to see the beautiful sunshine with lots of other flowers all over the city. You can plan for lake side BBQ and you can find many different spots ! Vårbygård is a nice place to spend time under the sun or hasslbystrand is my favorite Beachside BBQ place ! You can spend 2 or 3 nights to amazing Gotland ! There will be lots of bars open in Östermalm area which are gorgeous! Sunny days are awesome to spend walking around Gamla Stan in Stockholm!!!! Good Luck 👍🏼 💕
