If you are here expecting a big party idea for celebration of your baby gender reveal then you are in a wrong place. I am sharing here my story of mini celebration that was all on my own which is now the sweetest memory to me.

Some people love to keep the baby gender a secret before the baby is born; some people do not even want to know themselves and want to get the biggest surprise after the birth of the baby. It is completely a personal choice. However, we were eagerly waiting to know our baby’s gender because it is exciting and it was necessary for the baby shopping before the baby was born.

Once it was confirmed that we are having a baby boy we were so glad and started buying all baby boy stuffs that he would immediately need after birth.

We would definitely plan a baby shower if we were in Dhaka because I could have my family around. But here in Toronto I was not at all interested to have one even though my husband wanted to plan for it. I felt that organizing a party by ourselves will be pretty exhausting because in pregnancy we never know when the body will betray and my husband had to manage everything alone if we plan a party. I did not want any extra work but definitely wanted to make the day memorable so we celebrated ourselves.

Actually it is all about making your heart happy and the day memorable so it is best to do what makes you comfortable. We ordered some decoration items , food and did some photoshoot. It was such a cozy way to celebrate that we were having a baby boy. We both felt special and we were surprised that how much we enjoyed the time just being ourselves.

So to feel special we do not need much things all the time, we do not even need a lot of friends around, but what we need is a strong desire for making the time beautiful. We always need to try to identify what will make us comfortable; specially when the body is not ready to support any situation. Some nice decoration can always elevate our mood and capturing those moments in lens of our camera will make the happiness long lasting. Every time we look at those pictures we go back to that beautiful time.
